NYC to UAE

The airline is called Etihad. It is the official airline of the United Arab Emirates. Superb service! The flight started with a short prayer from the Koran. Etihad means "hope". This gives a whole new positive meaning to "flying on a hope and a prayer".

The service was great. Did I say that? I had lamb kababs on a bed of basmati rice and wine from Pays d'Oc. We watched a movie called "Seraphine" about an unknown french artist who talked to trees.



The image in the made me think of Tom Sarrantonio and the tree on the Wallkill flats that has often been his muse.
